But it’s no big secret. The successful are building a long term business. If you’re still chasing opportunities rather than building a business, I offer this simple plan, which is based on a formula.

CO+L+T = D

I call it the COLT formula.

It stands for:

Converting Offer + List + Traffic = Dollars

These appear in the formula in reverse order of the difficulty of each item.

Traffic is the hardest to get.

How about a list? Everyone says you need one. Do you have one? Leads? Prospects? Customers?

List basics:

List mechanism like Aweber.
Subscribe incentive (bribe to subscribe.)
Sign them up (get their info and the click)
Stay in touch (forever.)
Move leads to prospects (or not) to customers (or not.)

And then there’s the converting offer:

If you already have one, what are you waiting for? If you don’t, does it sound difficult? Well it’s not really. It is difficult to come up with your own - maybe. Especially when you’re new to the game…but I have something for you (you knew I would…) that will fix that.
