Ever wonder where you could get a web site disclaimer? Sometimes these are called terms of use or terms of service. I’ve seen programs costing upwards of $100 for this necessity on your web site. But here’s where you can get a very good web site disclaimer free.
The site spits out a php file in your browser. Just save this in your browser as an htm or html file. Then you can edit it in whatever editor you use.
I did find some things in the source I had to edit out. It only took a couple of minutes to get this up and running.I had to fiddle with it a bit to get it right in Wordpress. I saved it as a page called terms of use. It’s over there on the right, down a ways in the sidebar.
Depending on what you are doing, you can call this “disclaimer,” “terms of use,” “terms of service,” or whatever sounds good to you.
This is definitely the easiest way to get a disclaimer up on your web site.
