Marketing No Brainers

It seems like forever that I’ve updated the No Brainers. I got involved in three projects that I’d been putting off and a couple of them swallowed up most of my creative time. I did email quite a bit, but could never find the time to get the content posted here.

The project that swallowed up the most of my time is ClickDen.com. In a nutshell it is an affiliate vendor site for marketers. Beside the really cool info products and software I’ll be offering, it has some twists.

1. Affiliates don’t lose their prospects to my email list.
2. Affiliates can promote cutting edge resell rights products that they’d otherwise have to buy.
3. The fees for payout are limited to whatever PayPal charges.

I had the idea for this a month or so ago, but it took a few false starts until it crystallized. The biggest problem I had was finding an all-in-one affiliate and payment processing system that actually integrated well and works.

I spent two frustrating weeks trying to make affiliate software X talk to autoresponder Y and download link protector Z. It was all in vain. When I finally did come out the other side the solution that worked the best, with the shortest learning curve, really surprised me. In beta this system works better than everything else I tried. More on this in a future post.

I’ve got two products available for sale at ClickDen.com, with more to follow quickly.

The other site I spent a bit of time on is called SitesThatPayYou.com. It is a review site featuring other web sites where you will get paid to complete actions or post content. This is a great way to pick up some extra money if you’re just starting out, are a work at home mom, have some teenagers or college kids that need a flexible hours job, etc. My first review there is about a site called Cash Crate.

I’ll get some of the catch up done this week and next, and hope to have things up to date here at Marketing No Brainers by the end of the first week of July.
