Resources I use constantly:

Web Site Hosting:

Bizaddy for web hosting. Yes I host my own hosting for my own sites because my servers are more reliable than any others I’ve found.

EMail AutoResponders

Aweber is my favorite Autoresponder service. There’s a reason everyone tells you to use it.

Marketing Systems

Kavi’s EbizAC for affiliate program management, product management, digital download protection, autoresponder, ad tracking, customer support management, and more . This could be the only solution you’ll ever need. You’ll get web hosting for up to 10 sites here as well.

Web Site Building

I use WordPress for almost all my sites. It’s free, but don’t go through the pain of installing it manually. If your hosting company has cPanel and Fantastico, it’s an easy automated install. At Bizaddy, your WordPress blog install is free!

For static html pages I recommend Nvu or Kompozer. Both are free. You can make minisites with these. I use NVu to modify sales pages I get with resale rights.

FTP - I’m using FileZilla and very happy with it. You need an FTP program to transfer files from your computer to your web host.

File readers

Adobe Reader - you need it if you haven’t got it to read those pdf files.

WinZip - XP will extract for you but what if you want to MAKE a zip file?

PKWare has no nag freeware for unzipping only, cannot compile a zip. If you’re going to actually buy a Zip program I think PKWare’s interface is easier to use.

Writing

Notetab Light is a wonderful free full featured text editor.

Making PDFs - eWriterPro works!

Open Office has a full featured Word Processor and also can generate pdfs.

Domains -

GoDaddy.com - but never for hosting!

Domains Priced Right - GoDaddy owns this - always cheaper unless you have GoDaddy coupons.

NameCheap - Many marketers prefer them.

You can search domains by keywords you’d like to use at Domainsbot. Copy your faves to notepad!

Instant Domain Search is another cool domain search tool, gives availability as you type them in. Copy and paste your selections to notepad so you don’t lose them.
